Club Lessons
Frontier Squares always has a new class each year. Saturday, September 6 & 13, will be our 'fun nights' where prospective dancers get a feel for the fellowship that comes with square dancing. Some of the basic square dance movements are taught the first night. The class is open to new dancers for two additional weeks. Starting the fourth Saturday in September, the class is closed except for returning dancers who do not need to repeat basic lessons. Cost is $15.00 per person per month. Classes are held every Saturday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. When lessons are approximately 1/2 completed, the class begins to dance a tip with the club. Students will be graduated from basic, mainstream, and plus in May. The club dances at the students level during the last few months of classes and students are encouraged to stay and dance at least one tip with the club. The class of 2008 have 22 students who will graduate in May.

Class Coordinator for 2008-2009 will be Suzanne Matocha, 281-704-6650. Helping Suzanne will be Jim & Dee Stephens, 281-474-4971. If you would like to get information for the upcoming class and cannot contact either Suzanne or the Stephens, call George Wieland [Frontier Squares President] at 281-286-5682
